Complex relations , i loved word "Kameeni" from this movie & applied same in real life on some , like it !
Watched may be more than 10 -20 ,,more ...times , also i had long discussions with my Mom also on every scene , she was also fascinated with this gr8 movie .

Infact I was obsessed with name Maya , but avoided naming my daughter due to Tragic end of all Maya's.
When Gulzar approached RD for the track ,he refused , RD told him " Mera saaman lotta doo.... , , ye kya hey , kal ko likhega radddi lauta dooo ",finaly he made this , which comes out to be one of the best from RD/Gulzar.

I was in 7th Standard when I First heard these lines in his voice. That was 1993/94. From that day I am in love with this man. An immortal character Maya.. Who was totally different from this practical world got an unfortunate end. Her way of loving and living is not for this earth. I also saw the movie JatuGriha from which Ijazzat is inspired. Though there were no such character like Maya. This is totally Gulzar Saheb's creation.
